Traditional Boatyard – Wooden boatbuilding in Greece

This video was broadcasted by Hellenic Television (ERT) on May 2005.
It shows one of the last remaining active traditional boatyards in Greece, and the way of building traditional wooden boats. This boatyard, even nowdays, is building (in full capacity !!!) 3 – 4 vessels each year.

High speed video showing the building of a Bristol Cutter design classic sailing boat built by Mark Rolt at www.bristolclassicboat.co.uk The boat is due to be launched on May 22nd 2008 at Redcliffe Wharf in Bristol. The boat will be based in Salcombe in Devon where is will be used to teach sailing to underprivileged children.

This is the time lapse photography of the winter quarter (large craft style) at the Northwest School of Wooden Boatbuilding in Port Hadlock, WA. The fore ground is a 22ft Cat Boat and in the back ground is an 18 ft outboard runabout, which will be for sale when we finish it.
